Two of the objectives that I wanted to accomplish during my first term as a NEA Executive Committee member were to demonstrate the benefits of incorporating social media into the Association communication structure and provide comprehensive methods on ways to utilize technologies to enhance everyday Association work. This site is just one example of these objectives. On it, I am able to provide leaders and members with:

• easy access to my activities, views on important issues, and interactions on the national, state, and local levels;
• valuable resources that I come across in my travels;
• rapid two-way communications between me and the Association community that provide instant input on a variety of topics, and;
• alert methods about the latest update in information.
